Our 2nd annual BOO! Project raised $13,000 this year to support transformational education in the Avenue community. With the help of sponsors, volunteers, and participants, the project spread Halloween cheer across 16 zip codes while creating lasting opportunities for local children.
Read MoreFuse Project has received a $15,000 grant from The Community Foundation of South Alabama to support its ABC Program, which provides educational opportunities to children in Mobile's historic Avenue communities. This funding will enable Fuse Project to expand its programs, including the introduction of new clubs, extending the SPARK Summer Camp, and increasing the impact of their initiatives.
Read MoreTo close the Order of Fuse member year, we hosted a "Summer Sips" event at Grace on Dauphin celebrating the significant impact of their contributions to the ABC Program, which expanded Academic Support to three schools and greatly enhanced student and teacher engagement. The evening included a presentation of our achievements, a surprise rooftop toast, and the announcement of the 2024 grant allocation which will further sustain and enhance the program.
