In December, Fuse Project celebrated a month of academic support and community engagement in the Avenue, bringing students hands-on learning, creative expression, and recognition for their achievements. These efforts underscore the value of providing enriching opportunities and fostering connections in our Avenue community schools.
Fuse Project’s new After-School Art program at Calloway-Smith Middle School, created in partnership with Mobile Arts Council’s Amp Up Arts, provides students with a creative outlet while integrating social-emotional learning and academic support. By offering hands-on projects and fostering self-expression, the program addresses a critical need for extracurricular opportunities in under-resourced schools, empowering students to grow both academically and emotionally.
